China FeMo, moly concentrates prices slide to 35-m low

Prices of both ferromolybdenum (FeMo) and moly concentrates in China slid to their respective 35-month lows over June 29-July 3 mainly on the pressure of the lower-priced imported molybdic oxide, market sources shared on Monday.

As of July 3, the price of FeMo with 60% content in Northeast China fell another Yuan 7,000/tonne ($990.5/t) or 7.3% from June 28 to Yuan 89,000/t, and that of the 45% grademoly concentratesin Central China’s Henan provincedropped by Yuan 150/mtu or 10.4% from June 28 to Yuan 1,290/mtu,
