Nippon Steel's H-beam prices flat for Jan domestic sales

Nippon Steel, Japan's largest integrated mill, has decided to roll over its H-beam list prices on month for January domestic sales, to give the market another month to digest the previous hikes, while to monitor the price movement in raw materials and other input costs, the company announced on January 19.

Nippon Steel Structural Shapes, the company's section subsidiary in Wakayama in western Japan, has decided to stick to the price policy by its parent company, but it has also claimed the rising input costs including auxiliary materials.
