Energy-saving report of Fujian Clear View Copper Foils Co., ltd for its 25,000 tonnes annual output of electrolytic copper foil project in Qingjing, Fujian Province has been approved.
The expansion project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in January 2024. In this project, the copper cathode is used as raw material, and the copper rod is produced by the process of oxygen-free copper. Lithium electric copper foil and standard copper foil are produced by an electrolytic copper foil process with the self-produced copper rod as raw material.
The project purchased 4 cathode roller grinders and other major equipment. It also includes 3 copper wire rod production lines, 82 crude foil engines, 90 cathode rolls, 8 surface treatment machines, 22 splitting machines, and other supporting facilities. After the project is completed and put into operation, the annual production capacity of electrolytic copper foil will be increased by 25,000 tonnes (including 15,000 tonnes of lithium copper foil, and 10,000 tonnes of standard copper foil)
Clear View Copper Foil is located in Shanghang Industrial Park, Fujian Province, which covers an area of 10 hectares, with a registered capital of 204.08 million yuan and a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan. It is a leading enterprise of key projects, high-tech enterprises, strategic emerging industries of Fujian Province, and a small giant of sci. & tech. in Fujian Province.
The company is mainly engaged in the R&D, production, and sales of 4–9-micron double-sided photo electrolytic copper foil for lithium batteries of new energy-powered vehicles. The products are also widely used in lithium batteries for digital products and solar energy storage batteries and other fields.
The company has built 22 production lines in the first phase, with an annual production capacity of 5000 tonnes. With stable equipment performance, mature technology, and excellent product quality, all the machines can sustainably and stably produce high-grade electrolytic copper foil for 0.006mm high tensile and high ductile lithium batteries. The product quality has met the requirements of key customers such as China Aviation Lithium Battery Co., LTD. and SVOLT. It has achieved mass production of 0.0045mm copper foil in 2019.
