Rio Tinto to ship 320-335 mln t of iron ore in '23

Rio Tinto, the world's second-largest iron ore producer after Vale, has set its Pilbara iron ore shipments guidance for the 2023 calendar year ranging at 320-335 million tonnes (on 100% basis), which is in line with its target in 2022, according to the company's latest release on its official website on November 30.

Meanwhile, Rio Tinto's mid-term capacity of Pilbara iron ore operation will remain at 345-360 million tonnes. The miner also noted that the new shipments guidance remains subject to risks around commissioning and ramp-up of new mines and management of cultural heritage.
