Brazil's global iron ore exports slip 2% on month in June

Brazil exported 34.4 million tonnes of iron ore to global destinations in June, the total having edged down by 2.2% on-month after recording an on-month gain in May, according to the latest statistics from Brazil's Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services. However, the volume was still 7.5% higher than in June 2022.

Consequently, during this year's January-June half the country's total iron ore exports globally reached 170.1 million tonnes, higher by 9% on year, the official data showed.
