On July 12, China ENFI and PT MITRA MURNI PERKASA (MMP) signed an agreement on the MMP nickel smelting project. Liu Cheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China ENFI, Andrew Hidayat, founder of Indonesian MMS Group, and Adhi Mustopo, General Manager of MMP Company, attended the signing ceremony.
The MMP nickel smelting project is China ENFI's first high-grade nickel matte project in Indonesia, which is located in Balikpapan, Kalimantan Island, Indonesia with high nickel matte being the major product. By advantage of the company's proprietary RKEF technology, it is planned to build two 48MVA circular electric furnace production lines and converter vulcanization production lines. After the project is put into operation, it can realize an annual output of 22,000 tonnes of nickel matte in metal content.
Relying on this project, China ENFI will build a reliable, competitive, green, safe, and environmentally friendly nickel smelter, create a new benchmark in the field of nickel smelting, and provide solutions for the new energy industry chain.
