WSA: Global crude steel output dips 1.1% YoY in H1

For the first half of 2023, crude steel production among the 63 countries worldwide surveyed by the World Steel Association (WSA) declined by 1.1% to reach 943.9 million tonnes, according to the association's latest release on July 25. The 63 countries produced approximately 97% of the world's total crude steel output in 2022, WSA notes.
