Taiwan CSC hikes major steel list prices for Q4 sales

China Steel Corp (CSC), Taiwan's largest steel mill headquartered in Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan, has decided to raise the list prices of its major carbon steel products for October and Q4 sales, citing higher production costs and its hopes for improved demand.
CSC's production costs have risen significantly as prices of major steelmaking raw materials such as iron ore and metallurgical coal have increased, the company said in its September 14 release.
