Sino-Mongolian Shiveekhuren-Ceke railway completes construction

The cross-border railway linking the Shiveekhuren inland port in Omnogovi province of Mongolia with the Ceke border crossing in North China's Inner Mongolia has completed construction on May 29, according to the Ministry of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia.

The 6.96-kilometer railway, which has been under construction since late October last year, marks the second cross-border rail line on the China-Mongolia border and is expected to boost coal exports from Mongolia to China, as reported.
