Thailand imposes AD duties on Chinese alloy HRC

Thailand's Department of Foreign Trade (DFT) has recently announced the imposition of anti-dumping (AD) duties of 30.91% on imports of alloy-added hot-rolled coil (HRC) originating from China. The move is an extension of the country's existing AD tariffs on Chinese HRC, Mysteel Global learned.
Before the confirmation of the latest AD duties on August 1, the DFT had on September 16 last year initiated an anti-circumvention investigation against alloy-added HRC from 17 Chinese producers, investigating whether they violated on-going AD duties by adding alloys to HRCs and exporting them to Thailand under other
