Coal production at China Coal Energy dips MoM in August

China Coal Energy Co., Ltd, the listed arm of China's third-largest coal producer China National Coal Group, reported a small decline of 2.4% on month in its coal production in August at 11.81 million tonnes, the firm's latest operation report discloses. However, the quantity was higher by a tiny 0.6% on year.

The firm started registering positive on-year gains in coal production from May, ending the consecutive falls for three months since February this year.
