Coal output in Russia's Kuzbass drops again in March

After declining for the fourth consecutive month, production of all kinds of coal in Russia's Kuzbass Region reached 15.1 million tonnes in March, down another 3.8% on month, Mysteel Global calculated based on the latest data from the Ministry of Coal Industry of Kuzbass.

On a yearly basis, the March output was lower by a larger 10%. Cumulative output over January-March reached 46.6 million tonnes, also down 7.5% from the same period last year, according to the data.
