Malaysia initiates AD probe on galvanized flats from China, S Korea and Vietnam

Malaysia has started an anti-dumping investigation into galvanized flat steel imports from China, South Korea, and Vietnam, according to a notice from the country's Federal Legislation on February 6.

The probe followed a petition lodged by CSC Steel Sdn Bhd, a local representative of steel producers, who claimed that these galvanized flat steel products from the alleged countries are being dumped in Malaysia and have caused material injury to the country's domestic steel industry.
