Eleven non-ferrous metal producers rank in 2024 Hurun China 500

The Hurun Research Institute released the list of China’s top 500 most valuable non-state-owned companies for 2024 by market value on February 25. A total of 11 Chinese non-ferrous metal companies made the list, with 5 engaging in aluminum-related business, Mysteel noted.

Among the 11 non-ferrous metal producers, CMOC, the world's largest cobalt producer based in Central China's Henan province, ranks the highest at 58th on the top 500 list with a market value of Yuan 153 billion, Mysteel Global noted.

Aluminum manufacturers Xinfa Group, East Hope, Nanshan Group, and China Hongqiao Group ranked 69th, 91st, 99th, and 101st respectively on the list with market caps all exceeding Yuan 100 billion. Tianshan Aluminum made the list in a distant 302nd place, with a market value of Yuan 41 billion.
