According to the latest news on March 1st, the No. 5 Super Factory project of Fuding Contemporary Amperex Technology Limited Lithium-ion Battery Production Base was officially capped, marking an important milestone victory for the factory and a solid and powerful step towards completion and production.
It is reported that the No. 5 Super Factory project has a single building area of 230,000 square meters and is equipped with four internationally leading new energy battery super production lines and intelligent manufacturing equipment. The annual production capacity will reach 25 GWh. The project officially started construction on October 21, 2024 and is expected to be put into operation in August 2025.
According to data, the battery production base is the largest single project in CATL's global layout, with an output value exceeding Yuan 100 billion yuan.
