On April 7th, GEM announced that the first mass production and delivery ceremony of the company's new generation of 9-series ultra-high nickel core-shell ternary precursors was held at its wholly-owned subsidiary Jingmen GEM New Materials Co., Ltd. The company's new generation of 9-series ultra-high nickel core-shell ternary precursors was officially shipped and launched, marking the beginning of large-scale production and marketization of the world's new generation of 9-series ultra-high nickel core-shell ternary precursors. The company has also become the only enterprise in the world with the ability to produce ultra-high nickel 9-series core-shell ternary precursor on a large scale.
In addition, in the first quarter of 2025, the company's production and sales were prosperous, with a capacity utilization rate of over 95%, and it was not affected by US tariff policies. The company's high-quality precursor orders have been pre positioned in the high-end markets of Japan, South Korea, and Europe, and the export market is not affected by US tariff policies.
