On April 22, at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, Geely Holding Group announced the completion of a strategic integration of its battery business, establishing a new battery industry group-Zhejiang Jiyao Tongxing Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The original "Golden Brick Battery" and "Shield Short Blade Battery" will be unified under the "Shield Golden Brick Battery" brand, achieving a "powerful integration" of Geely's self-developed and self-produced battery safety systems and cell products.
