On May 24, Leading lithium battery manufacturer CALB announced that it will supply high-performance energy storage battery cells for Aurora Project, a major solar-storage hybrid project in Tarapacá, Chile, Latin America.
According to CALB, the project is expected to deliver 600 GWh of renewable electricity annually, enough to power 200,000 households for a full year. It stands as a flagship initiative in Chile's energy transition and ranks among the largest solar-storage projects in Latin America.
