SHFE to launch cast aluminum alloy futures and options in June

The Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) has received approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission to launch futures and options for cast aluminum alloy, marking China’s first secondary metal futures products, the exchange announced on Monday.

The cast aluminum alloy futures will be officially listed for trading at 9:00 a.m. on June 10, and its options will commence trading at 9:00 p.m. the same day, according to the SHFE.
