NBS: China's power output in May edges up 0.5% on year

Electricity output among the enterprises supplying power in China increased by 0.5% on year to 738 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in May, data published by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on June 16 show. Last month's rise in total power generated was smaller than the 0.9 percentage point increase in April, the NBS data show.
