FLASH: Rains disrupt coal mining in Inner Mongolia again

Coal production in China's major producing hub, Inner Mongolia, is being disrupted again by torrential rains flooding the coalfields, a Mysteel survey showed.
Operations at all 32 sampled thermal coal mines in Ordos' Dongsheng District – hosting a combined capacity of 109.7 million tonnes/year – has been suspended as August 26 after local authorities ordered evacuations of workers.
