IAI: Global primary Al output exceeds 6.2 million t in May

Global primary aluminium production totalled 6.25 million tonnes in May, up by 3.4% from April and by 1.5% from May 2024, according to the latest data released by the International Aluminium Institute (IAI). On a daily basis, global output averaged 201,645 tonnes per day last month.
