FLASH: Hengwang New Energy's 200,000-tonne LFP project achieves trial production

On June 29, Tangshan Hengwang New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. has successfully initiated trial production for the first-phase 200,000-tonne annual lithium iron phosphate (LFP) project at its Caofeidian base. With a total investment of Yuan 5.5 billion, the project is expected to reach mass production by October 2025.


Through dual-track development, including the Qianxi Phase II expansion (150,000-tonne LFP) and Caofeidian base (200,000-tonne LFP), the company is positioned to achieve 350,000-tonne total production capacity within 2025.
