On March 26, the Brunp 500,000-tonne-per-year advanced battery materials project, with a total investment of Yuan 6.1 billion, officially commenced construction.
It is understood that the project is a landmark project for Brunp to further improve its integrated industrial layout across the entire chain of "phosphate rock–raw materials–precursors–cathode materials–battery recycling," and represents an additional investment in Yichang. To date, with all Brunp Recycling investment projects in Yichang having reached full production capacity, the annual output of iron phosphate will reach 750,000 tonnes, lithium iron phosphate will reach 450,000 tonnes, and battery recycling capacity will reach 500,000 tonnes.
