CNGR Advanced Material stated that Morocco serves as a pivotal hub in its global expansion strategy, with operations covering the European and American markets. Based on market demand and comprehensive consideration of its own strategic layout, the company has fully put into operation the first phase of the 40,000-tonne nickel-based material production line in the Morocco base, becoming the world's first new energy material base to be put into operation in Africa.
Based on Morocco's attractive industrial environment with low-cost green energy, world-class mineral resources, and an extensive free trade agreement network close to the European and American markets, the Morocco base has planned a complete industrial chain layout, covering an annual production capacity of 120,000-tonne of ternary precursors; After the ecological maturity of LFP batteries in the region, a 60,000-tonne LFP cathode material production line will be deployed; At the same time, it will equipped with critical metal refining and spent battery recycling with an annual processing capacity of over 60,000 tonnes, enhancing localized resource utilization and circular economy capabilities.
In the future, the company will leverage global raw material sourcing and distributed manufacturing to build a secure and resilient supply chain, establish large-scale global delivery capabilities, strengthen worldwide resource allocation efficiency and enhance competitiveness in the global battery materials industry.
