On July 21, 2025, GEM's production base in Jingmen held a grand ceremony to mark the mass production and shipment of the world's first and only industrialized ultrahigh-nickel 9 series quaternary core-shell precursor. After six years of dedicated R&D breakthroughs, GEM's ultra-high-nickel 9-series quaternary core-shell precursor has successfully filled the global gap in the industrialization of such materials. The product is planned to achieve a monthly shipment volume of 2,000 tonnes, with 100% supply allocated to leading international corporate supply chains.
