On July 29, Seres Group and Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) officially signed a cooperation agreement to jointly establish the "Seres Group-Harbin Institute of Technology Intelligent Vehicle Joint Innovation Research Institute."
Under the agreement, the institute will focus on key technological fields such as artificial intelligence, three-dimensional transportation and ecosystems, and advanced power systems. It aims to establish an integrated innovation mechanism combining industry, academia, research, and application. The platform will facilitate technology commercialization, high-end talent recruitment, joint postgraduate training, student internships, and employee continuing education.
At the ceremony, Zhang Xinghai, Chairman of Seres Group emphasized that this collaboration marks a critical milestone in deepening strategic ties between the two parties. He expressed expectations for the institute to achieve four key objectives, including joint technological breakthroughs, institutional innovation, talent development, and value enhancement.
