On July 28, the Ecological Environment Bureau of Pengxi County, Sichuan Province released the "Pre-approval Public Participation Announcement for Environmental Impact Assessment" regarding Sichuan Yingda Lithium Battery New Material's technical renovation project to produce 100,000 tonnes/year of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) precursor for lithium-ion battery cathode materials.
It's reported that the project is located in Pengxi Economic Development Zone, Sichuan Province and plans to invest Yuan 30 million to carry out technological upgrade within existing factory premises, ultimately forming a production capacity of 10,0000 tonnes of LFP precursor for lithium-ion battery cathode materials per year.
