India imposes five-year AD duties on Chinese electrical steel

India will levy anti-dumping (AD) duties on imports of cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel (CRNO) from China for five years, New Delhi's Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has announced.
After a 12-month investigation, the DGTR under India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry had established that Chinese manufacturers were selling CRNO in India at prices lower than their normal value, potentially harming the domestic steel industry, it announced on September 19. Consequently, the authority recommended AD duties of $223.82/tonne
