Starting October 1, 2025, Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) will require all mining companies to submit their Work Plans and Budgets (RKAB) through the MinerbaOne digital platform.
Tri Winarno, Director General of Minerals and Coal at ESDM, stated that the RKAB module within MinerbaOne will go live once the relevant ministerial regulation is issued. The government is currently coordinating with holders of Mining Business Permits (IUP) to facilitate a smooth transition.
During a recent application event for the MinerbaOne system, Tri expressed his expectation that the platform would be fully operational by October 1, enabling companies to submit their RKAB for 2026 without disruption.
Notably, even companies that have already received RKAB approval will need to resubmit their 2026 plans through MinerbaOne. The platform integrates several existing systems, including MODI, EPNBP, and MOMS, as part of the broader digital transformation of Indonesia's mining licensing process. Tri emphasized that this integration is essential given the approximately 2,000 RKAB documents processed annually.
