South32's share of Mn ore output jumps 33% QoQ over Jul-Sept

South32 Ltd, the world's largest manganese miner headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, reported that during July-September its share of manganese ore output from its joint ventures in Australia and South Africa increased by 345,000 wet metric tonnes (wmt) or 32.5% on quarter to reach 1.4 million wmt, according to the company's latest quarterly report released on October 21. The July-September period is the first quarter of company's 2026 financial year spanning July 2025 to June 2026.

South32 owns 60% of the Australia Manganese joint venture, while its share in the South Africa Manganese joint venture is 54.6%, the report said.
