South32's share of Mn ore output jumps 58% YoY in H1 FY26

South32 Ltd, the world's largest manganese miner headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, reported that its share of manganese ore output from its joint ventures in Australia and South Africa jumped by 58% on year to reach 2.72 million wet metric tonnes (wmt) over July-December 2025, the first half of its financial year 2026 (FY26), according to the company's latest quarterly report released on January 22.

South32 holds 60% of the Australia Manganese joint venture, while its share in the South Africa Manganese joint venture is 54.6%, the report said.
