South32's share of Mn ore output jumps 57% on year in FY26

South32 Ltd, the world's largest manganese miner headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, reported that in its 2026 financial year (spanning July 2025 to June 2026), its share of manganese ore output from its joint ventures in Australia and South Africa surged by 57.1% on year to reach 5.12 million wet metric tonnes (wmt).

South32 owns 60% of the Australia Manganese joint venture, while its share in the South Africa Manganese joint venture is 54.6%, the report said.
