NBS: China's output of major white goods mixed in Jan-Sept

China’s production of four major home appliances posted mixed trends over January-September, with the output of air-conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines rising on year, while that of televisions slid from the same period last year, according to the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

Among the four home appliances, washing machines logged the largest on-year increase, with output jumping 7.5% to 90.05 million units over the first nine months.
