GACC: China's copper products imports fall in October

China's imports of major copper-related commodities decreased in October, official government statistics showed, reflecting subdued demand from domestic smelters and expanding import losses.

The country's imports of copper ores and concentrates dropped 5.4% on month to 2.45 million tonnes in October, while unwrought copper and copper semi-finished products reported a steeper on-month decline of 10.6% to 438,000 tonnes last month, according to new data released by the General Administration of Customs (GACC)
