On the evening of November 16, Ronbay Technology released an announcement disclosing that it had signed a cooperation agreement with CATL. Under the agreement, CATL commits to procure no less than 60% of its total annual sodium-ion battery cathode powder demand from Ronbay Technology, provided that Ronbay's sodium-ion cathode materials meet CATL's requirements in technology, quality, cost, delivery, and service.
Should the annual procurement volume reach or exceed 500,000 tonnes, Ronbay will provide more favorable pricing through further cost reductions. Additionally, Ronbay will actively respond to CATL's needs regarding raw material supply and prioritize CATL's orders in its production capacity allocation. The cooperation agreement took effect upon signing and remains valid until December 31, 2029, with an automatic renewal clause.
