Under Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 17 of 2025, holders of Mining Business Permits (IUP) and Special Mining Business Permits (IUPK) in the operational production phase, as well as IUPK holders under continuing Contracts of Work/Agreements, are required to prepare and submit their Work Plan and Budget (RKAB) for production activities by November 15 each year for approval. Based on a review of compliance, a number of IUP-holding companies had still not submitted their RKAB applications by the November 15, 2025 deadline.
The Ministry has issued a formal warning to these companies, instructing them to immediately submit their 2026 RKAB applications via the relevant information system. The submission must be completed no later than 30 days from the date of this notice (December 4).
