China's coal imports via Russia-China land port of Suifenhe jump 9% YoY in Jan-Nov

China imported 4 million tonnes of coal overland from Russia through the Suifenhe land port in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province during the first 11 months of this year, marking a 9.1% increase from the same period in 2024, state media China Daily reported on December 8.

The steady inflow has helped secure energy supplies for power generation, heating and industrial operations across Northeast China, the report noted.
