On December 11, Fenyi County in Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province held a signing ceremony with Jiangxi Ganfeng Lithium Battery Technology Co., Ltd. for the 10 GWh Photovoltaic-Storage-Direct-Flexibility Zero-Carbon Industrial Base project.
The project includes the construction of a pouch lithium battery production line and system integration factory, a distributed photovoltaic power generation system with supporting electrochemical energy storage facilities, green transportation and logistics infrastructure, and other auxiliary industrial facilities. It is reported that the 10 GWh zero-carbon industrial base aims to become a comprehensive industrial cluster integrating smart manufacturing, technology research and development, energy management, and demonstration exhibits. Upon completion, Ganfeng Lithium will leverage its role as an anchor enterprise to help Xinyu form a more complete lithium battery industry chain.
