China Shaanxi's Yulin city to add 87 mln t/y coal capacity in 15th FYP

Yulin city, China's second-largest coal-mining hub located in the northwestern province of Shaanxi, aims to build 16 new mines and add coal production capacities totalling 87 million tonnes/year during the country's 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-30), according to a release by the China National Coal Association (CNCA) on December 22, citing an official from the Yulin Energy Bureau.
