UPDATE: South Korea extends provisional AD duty on Chinese, Japanese HRC imports

South Korea has extended the duration of provisional anti-dumping duties on hot-rolled carbon and alloy steel products imported from China and Japan, according to the latest notice issued by the South Korea's Ministry of Economy and Finance on December 30 2025.
The provisional measures will now remain in effect for nine months, from September 23 2025 through June 22 2026, compared with the original four-month period that was to end on January 22 2026, as Mysteel Global has reported.   The rate of provisional penalties imposed on Japanese HRC ranges from 31.58%
