Mexico slaps provisional AD duties on HR steel from China, Vietnam

Mexico’s Ministry of Economy has issued an affirmative preliminary ruling and imposed provisional anti-dumping (AD) duties on hot-rolled (HR) steel products originating from China and Vietnam, according to a resolution published on Mexico’s Official Gazette on March 23.

The products targeted are hot-rolled steel, corresponding to flat products of iron or carbon or alloy steel, hot-rolled, pickled or non-pickled, neither clad nor coated, with thicknesses up to 25.4 mm and widths of below, equal to and above 600 mm, regardless of form – coil, sheet, strip, band, or
