CVWorld: China's heavy truck sales jump 26% YoY in 2025

Sales of heavy-duty trucks in China from makers direct to dealers and for export continued to rise in December to total around 95,000 units, higher by 13% from the 84,200 units sold in December 2024, according to a preliminary estimate released by the Beijing-headquartered Commercial Vehicle World (CVWorld), a well-recognized market intelligence provider on China's truck manufacturing sector.

Although the on-year growth narrowed clearly from November's 46% surge, the December figure, if the estimate proves accurate, would lift the country's total heavy truck sales in 2025 above the 1.1-million-units level to around 1.14 million units, jumping by 26% from 2024 and making it the strongest annual sales
