On January 10, the first batch of key projects for 2026 commenced construction in the Southeast Henan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. Among the six key projects initiated, CALB has deployed an advanced lithium-ion battery production line in the zone, launching a 51 GWh power and energy storage battery project. The project also reserves technical interfaces, production capacity space, and supporting facilities for next-generation battery production to ensure long-term iterative upgrading capabilities.
According to reports, the total investment in CALB's Xinyang base project amounts to Yuan 9.63 billion. The project is scheduled to commence production in October this year and is expected to achieve an annual output value of Yuan 12 billion, generate Yuan 400 million in tax revenue, and create 3,000 jobs upon full production by January 2028.
