On January 19, the People's Government of Yanchi County, Ningxia, signed an agreement with Runda Green Investment (Ningxia) Energy Group Co., Ltd. for a sodium-ion battery full-industry-chain demonstration project.
According to the announcement, the project encompasses a comprehensive layout across the sodium-ion battery sector, including material R&D, cell production, and energy storage applications. Runda Green Investment plans a total investment of Yuan 3.033 billion to establish a 10 GWh sodium-ion battery production project in Yanchi County. Upon completion, the project's capacity is expected to meet demand in areas such as energy storage and electric vehicles.
