CISA: Members' crude steel output slips 2.7% YoY in 2025

Total crude steel production among the member mills of the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) declined during 2025 to reach 805 million tonnes, falling by 2.7% on year, according to the data released by the association on January 20.
For December alone, the member mills produced 58.3 million tonnes of crude steel, recording a 10.5% on-year fall.
