On January 21, the People's Government of Pengxi County issued the first public announcement regarding the environmental impact assessment report for the large-scale production (Phase II) project of electric vehicle power and energy storage cathode materials by Sichuan Liyuan New Material Co., Ltd.
It is reported that Sichuan Liyuan New Material Co., Ltd. plans to invest Yuan 500 million to construct the large-scale production (Phase II) project of EV power and energy storage cathode materials in the Jinqiao area of Sichuan Pengxi Economic Development Zone. The project involves leasing a newly built standard factory building along with its ancillary facilities to establish two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material production lines, with an annual output of 100,000 tonnes of LFP cathode materials upon completion.
