On February 5, the largest overseas polysilicon production base, the United Solar Polysilicon (USP) Oman project with an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes, was officially launched in the Sohar Free Zone of Oman.
This project not only represents a key component in the PV industry chain in the Middle East but also serves as a new strategic node connecting the solar supply chains across Europe, Africa, and Asia. Shuangliang Eco-Energy Systems provided multiple sets of core equipment for the project, including a green electricity intelligent hydrogen production system, polysilicon reduction furnaces, lithium bromide units, electric refrigeration units, high-efficiency heat exchangers, and electrode boilers. All equipment was successfully started up in a single attempt, contributing to the project's commissioning and demonstrating the global competitiveness of China's intelligent manufacturing capabilities.
