Thailand starts 4th AD sunset review on CR stainless imports from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan

Thailand has launched the fourth anti-dumping (AD) sunset review on imports of cold-rolled (CR) stainless steel products from Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, according to the latest announcement released by the country’s Department of Foreign Trade on February 9.

Currently, imports from Japan's JFE Steel Corporation carry a penalty of 19.42% on the CIF value while most other Japanese producers are levied a duty of CIF 50.92% and Korean producers a rate of CIF 50.99%. For Taiwan, CR exports from most producers are subject to a rate of CIF 33.99%.
