Indonesia's coke exports soar 146.1% on year in Jan

Indonesia exported 909,111 tonnes of coke in January, including both metallurgical coke and semi-coke, soaring 146.1% from 369,358 tonnes in the same month of 2025, despite a decline from a record high of 1.04 million tonnes recorded in December 2025, according to the latest data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS).

Shipments to India, the top destination, reached 446,297 tonnes, soaring by 184.3% year-on-year and up 9.1% on month, the data showed.
